The remainder of the day is yours to spend at your leisure exploring, shopping or dining out. Overnight in Nuremberg. Dinner is on your own tonight.

Begin your day with a delightful breakfast at the hotel, ensuring you’re energized for the journey ahead. After breakfast, we’ll depart from Munich and make our way to the historic city of Nuremberg, a city renowned for its rich history, vibrant culture, and, of course, its exceptional beer.

This brewery is known for its dedication to traditional brewing methods and high-quality beers. This ornate fountain is a striking example of Gothic architecture and is one of Nuremberg’s most famous landmarks. The guided tour will provide fascinating insights into the rich history and cultural significance of this and other notable sights around the city.

After taking in the city’s highlights from the coach, we’ll head to the Imperial Castle (Kaiserburg), a symbol of Nuremberg’s medieval power and significance. Day 7: May 4th, 2025 | Passau to Munich (River Cruise)

This time, however, we’ll be trading our coach for a scenic river cruise, offering a unique and picturesque way to travel back to the famous city.

As we glide along the tranquil waters, you’ll have the chance to see the Bavarian landscape from a new perspective. The river cruise will take you past lush green hills, charming villages, and historic landmarks, allowing you to fully appreciate the natural beauty and cultural richness of the region you have come to know and love.

Upon arriving back in Munich for our final night in Germany, we’ll head to the acclaimed Andechs Monastery for a farewell brewery tour and tasting. Andechs Monastery, perched on the Holy Mountain above the Ammersee, is renowned for its exceptional beers brewed by Benedictine monks. During the tour, you’ll learn about the monastery’s centuries-old brewing traditions and the meticulous processes that go into creating their renowned beers.
